Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a number of welcoming and well-established primary schools across the borough of Croydon, all seeking committed and enthusiastic Class Teachers to join their teams from September 2026.

The Role

As a Class Teacher, you will:

  • Take responsibility for a class (year group based on your experience and school needs)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold UK QTS
  • Have recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Are committed to inclusive practice and raising attainment for all pupils
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Are seeking a long-term or permanent position within a supportive school
