Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join "this Client," a thriving and ambitious secondary academy in Newham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The salary for this role is aligned with the London MPS/UPS scale. Interviews will be arranged immediately, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stage 3, including Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, monitor student progress, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key requirements for this Teacher of Science role include:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in a Science-related subject
* Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
* A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Science education, committed to raising attainment, and able to inspire students to develop curiosity and confidence in the subject. You will be a team player who is willing to contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
