After School Club Assistant
Location - Oakington, Cambridge
Salary- £14.24-£16.50 per hour depending on experienced and qualification.
Hours - 3 hours day 5 days a week
Contract Long term, Temporary.
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a professional and committed after school club Assistant to support primary aged children across the Oakington, Cambridge area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional with a passion for supporting children's development in a structured, safe and engaging after school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver structured and engaging after school club activities for children aged 5-1.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and well manged environment at all times.
- Support children Social, Emotional and Development needs.
- Work in accordance with the EYFS framework and safeguarding Policies
- Provide effective support for pupils with special education needs.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, parents and careers.
Requirement for the Ater School Club Assistant role
Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
Experienced working with children aged 5-11 years
Strong knowledge on the EYFS framework
Experience supporting children with SEN needs.
Excellent communication and people skills
Reliable, Punctual and professions approach.
