SEN Teacher - Specialist School (Barnet)
Full-Time | £165-£285 per day | Start: After May Half Term
Tradewind Recruitment are working in close partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in Barnet to recruit a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher for a full-time role starting after May half term.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced and supportive setting, working with students aged 11-19 who have a range of special educational needs, including autism and complex learning needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support students with a range of learning, communication, and sensory needs
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals
- Use a range of strategies to support behaviour, communication, and engagement
- Contribute to EHCP targets and student progress reviews
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience working with students with SEND (autism and complex needs desirable)
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Can create a positive and structured learning environment
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into a specialist setting, full support and development will be available.
