The Role

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students access the curriculum
  • Building trusting, consistent relationships with pupils who need your support
  • Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans
  • Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

About You

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
