The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students access the curriculum
- Building trusting, consistent relationships with pupils who need your support
- Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans
- Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
About You
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
