Job Title: Attendance Administrator
Location: Wirral
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary (Until July 2026), Term Time Only, Tuesday to Friday

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and systems? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Attendance Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student attendance and safeguarding processes within a busy school environment.

The Role:

  • Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately
  • Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures
  • Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure appropriate documentation is received
  • Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Experience using Arbor
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Confidence using computer systems and attendance software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle

Working Hours:

  • Tuesday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Term time only
