About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to work on a supply basis across a well-established trust of schools in the Chesterfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives in varied environments and is committed to supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Working across multiple schools within the trust, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, inclusive education to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and leadership teams
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
