Learning Support Assistants Needed - Towcester & Surrounding Areas
Looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact every day? We're recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across Towcester and nearby areas, supporting pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs).
These roles are based in specialist schools and provisions that are set up to support pupils across a range of ages - from primary through to secondary - who need a more tailored, supportive approach to learning.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging, accessible lessons
- Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils
What we're looking for:
- A calm, patient and empathetic approach
- Resilience and a positive attitude
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
- Experience with SEND or SEMH is helpful, but not essential
- A willingness to learn and adapt in different settings
