- Pastoral Intervention: Acting as a "first responder" for students needing emotional support or guidance during the school day.
- Inclusion Support: Working closely with the SENCO to ensure students with ASC or SEMH are accessing the mainstream curriculum effectively through tailored strategies.
- Behaviour Management: Upholding the school's positive behaviour policy with a fair, firm, and consistent approach.
The Ideal Candidate
- Confident Communicator: You can command the attention of a classroom and build rapport with teenagers from all walks of life.
- Level-Headed: You remain calm under pressure and can think on your feet when plans change.
- Empathetic & Resilient: You understand the pressures modern students face and are committed to supporting their mental health and social development.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school, coaching, or youth-work environment is highly desirable.

- Integrated Team: You won't just be 'cover'-you will be an integral part of our pastoral and academic teams.
- Professional Growth: Excellent experience for those looking to progress into teaching, school counselling, or senior pastoral roles.
- Local Community: Work in a supportive, friendly environment in the heart of the Furness Peninsula.
- Work-Life Balance: Consistent full-time hours (Monday-Friday) within a structured school day.
