SEND Teachers Required - Make a Lasting Impact

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work across a range of specialist provisions and mainstream schools supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of your pupils. You will create a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs

  • Support pupils with EHCPs and adapt learning accordingly

  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and target setting

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with SEND pupils (in specialist or mainstream settings)

  • Strong understanding of a range of additional needs

  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
