Job Description

Not all Teaching Assistant roles are the same, some are far more hands-on, and this is one of them.

A primary school in the WA2 area of Warrington is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant who can take an active role in supporting learning across the classroom.

This Teaching Assistant position involves much more than general support. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is confident running small group interventions, supporting lower ability pupils, and working closely with children with SEN.

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will:

  • Lead small group work to support progress
  • Work with pupils with SEN and lower attainment
  • Provide clear feedback to the class teacher
  • Support day-to-day learning in a Warrington primary school

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

  • Be proactive and confident leading groups
  • Have experience supporting SEN or lower ability pupils
  • Be comfortable communicating progress back to staff

If you are a Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time, active role in a WA2 Warrington school, this is a strong opportunity to make a real impact.
