Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (Maths, English & Science)
Location: Lewisham | 5 Days per Week | Immediate Start Available
We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham. This is a full-time role, working across core subjects including Maths, English, and Science, supporting students to reach their full academic potential.

The Role
- Provide in-class support across Maths, English, and Science lessons
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted support to students
- Assist students with varying abilities, including those requiring additional academic support
- Help maintain a focused and inclusive learning environment
- Support with lesson preparation and classroom organisation where needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and/or Science
- A degree is preferred (particularly in a related subject area)
- Confident, proactive, and able to engage effectively with secondary-aged students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
