Science Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure that laboratories are well-prepared, safe, and fully equipped to inspire learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons
- Support teachers during practical experiments where required
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all health and safety standards are met
- Manage and organise stock, including ordering and monitoring supplies
- Assist with the development of practical resources to enhance the curriculum
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
- A relevant degree is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
