Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Bolton)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in primary education? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Bolton, and we are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons, working with small groups or individual pupils, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Roles may be full-time, part-time, or flexible to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils' learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Providing one-to-one or small group support, including for pupils with additional needs
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
