Wisbech, Cambridgeshire Start Date: September 2026 Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only Pay: £14.50 - £15.35 per hour (Weekly PAYE)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working exclusively with a well-established primary school in Wisbech who are looking to appoint a full-time Early Years Practitioner to join their EYFS team. The school is part of a supportive trust, providing excellent resources and strong opportunities for professional development across the wider network.

Key Responsibilities for the Early Years Practitioner Role:

• Work as part of a team to support the daily running of the EYFS department
• Support across EYFS and Reception classes
• Work with pupils with additional needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges
• Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Work closely with the class teacher to support planning and preparation
• Help children achieve key developmental milestones

Requirements:

• Holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification or an equivalent childcare qualification
• Has prior experience supporting children within EYFS or Reception environments
• Able to travel independently to and from Wisbech
• Good understanding of early childhood development and EYFS frameworks
• Caring, patient, and proactive approach when working with young children
