History Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a superb Secondary School in Sutton who are seeking a History Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This role will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to secure a permanent contract. The school prides itself on being a central part of the local community, and the SLT have created a supportive and collaborative environment that actively helps teachers develop their careers.

You will be responsible for teaching History across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for A Level History depending on experience. The school is conveniently located close to Carshalton Beeches station and also benefits from a large on-site car park as well as free on-street parking.

This role includes full teaching and class responsibilities and will be paid on the Outer London Main/Upper Pay Scale (£37,870 - £56,154).

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent UK classroom experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to new schools and settings
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes for young people
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
