We are proud to be working in partnership with Blackpool Council to help ensure disadvantaged children enjoy safe, healthy and enriching school holidays.
The Tradewind Difference
We’re proud to share that Tradewind Recruitment is working alongside Blackpool Council to support the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.
As part of our ongoing commitment to social value and helping the most disadvantaged young people, we are pledging £3 from every daily temporary booking (£15 per worker each week) to directly benefit children in Blackpool who need it most.
What is the HAF programme?
The government-funded HAF programme provides free holiday places for children entitled to benefits-related free school meals. These places ensure at least four hours of support per day, four days a week, for six weeks across Easter, summer, and Christmas breaks.
How are we making a difference?
With demand continuing to grow, Blackpool Council is aiming to extend the programme to cover nine weeks a year, reaching additional half-term holidays. Tradewind Recruitment is proud to contribute by investing £3 per day from every temp booking back into the community to support this essential expansion.
