A Primary school situated in Trafford, Urmston (M41) is looking to recruiter a Year 5 teacher to join their warm and friendly teaching team. The headteacher is looking for someone to start ASAP, Monday 11th March preferably.
This is a full-time, long-term role, based within a Year 5 class with the potential for the right candidate to secure the role on a permanent basis.

To join us and be successful in this Year 5 Teacher role, you will need to:
* Hold QTS
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.

About the role:
This Trafford based primary school are looking to meet with a Year 5 Teacher who can deliver creative lessons within Upper Key Stage 2 and prepare their pupils leading up to Year 6. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

Ideal candidates will have strong subject knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are both creative and engaging to ensure that all pupils are having fun whilst making good progress.

As the Year 5 class teacher your responsibility is to:
*Teach all areas of the KS2 primary curriculum.
*Ensure that the class make expected progression.
*Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
*Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
*Have a strong classroom presence and maintaining discipline.
*Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
*Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
*Organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
