Art and Design Teacher
Tradewind are working with an outstanding school in Hull, who require a full time Art and Design teacher, to start ASAP, until the end of the academic year. You will be covering a maternity cover, and all planning and marking associated with a teaching role are expected for this position. Payment will be paid in line with the main teaching pay scale, in real terms, this means you will be paid between £131.00 and £189.53 per day.
This school is truly leading in the area, and has fantastic amenities and resources available for the Art department. This is state of the art, and the successful candidate will have every piece of equipment they would ever need. The department is led by an experienced and fantastic head of department, who has a wealth of resources available for all members of the department. As the department is filled with experienced staff members, the school is happy to look at applications from NQTs, or recently qualified teachers.
Ideally the school are looking for a teacher who is comfortable teaching Art and Design to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. A candidate who is comfortable with teaching some facets of technology to Key Stage 3 students would be desirable for this role.
The school has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive, and is accessible via public transport from many areas of Hull.
- Delivering Key Stage 3 Design Technology (potentially)
- Designing Key Stage 3 + 4 Art
- Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
Experience working in a secondary school
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
