Tradewind recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in Lewisham to recruit a Behaviour Mentor on a full-time, long term basis to commence from September!
The school offers a very supportive and positive environment, ensuring staff have the training and resources needed to provide outstanding support to their students.
You will be required to:
* Support and develop a team of tutors focusing on high standards of social, personal
and academic development of students and to hold tutors to account for their
responsibilities.
* Support members of staff who experience disruptive behaviour.
* To be accountable for student progress and development of allocated students.
* To track student attendance for allocated Year/House group(s) and implement
appropriate interventions and parent meetings when needed.
* Taking responsibility for oversight of the welfare and progress of students in
allocated Year/House group(s).
* Celebrating students' successes as well as identifying students who need further
support in line with school policy.
* Leading on pastoral and welfare support for targeted students.
* To track and monitor student behaviour, attendance and attainment and agree
students that will have further support.
