Tradewind are working on behalf of a school in the Tamworth area.

They are seeking a Biology teacher from November 7th until at least Christmas on a full-time basis.

The school are rated Ofsted Good and the ideal candidate would be expected to maintain this within their classroom settings.

This busy Birmingham secondary school is friendly and has an inclusive ethos throughout. The school has a large science department who offer support and encouragement to any new teachers that join their friendly team.

You will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver KS3 and KS4 Science to mixed ability and high achieving students. Taking on the full role of a science teacher is essential, you will be attending parents evening and be able to attend school meetings weekly.

• To hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching KS3 & KS4 general Science in the UK in the past 2 years
• This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and profession reference checks - At least 2!
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks should be noted.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
