We are currently recruiting for experienced teaching assistants who are qualified in British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or 3 to work closely with our SEND provisions that provide support for children with hearing impairment in the South Birmingham.

Our SEND schools and SEND provisions are always looking for outgoing and confident Teaching Assistants who have experience within a SEND/or child care setting and are passionate working with pupils who have additional needs, particularly supporting students with Hearing Impairment. We are currently working with schools and Sensory Support units that specialise in hearing impairments. It's vital for schools to find the most suitable candidate's for their pupils to ensure that levels of attainment are being met and they are reaching their full potential.

The successful candidate will be able to assist in improving students learning and development. The ideal applicant for this role must have a minimum of a Level 2 in Sign Language, however, candidates with a lower level of qualification and a high level of experience in using British Sign Language will also be considered. We are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable individuals who want to make a difference, who are committed to long-term roles and can support students with Hearing Impairment.

You must hold:

* Level 2 or 3 in British Sign language
* Experience working with students with Hearing impairments.
* Passion for working with Special Educational Needs
