Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dedicated and passionate Business and Economics Teacher, looking for a new opportunity in a large academy in Nantwich?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Business and Economics Teacher, to join a large secondary academy, to start in January 2020. This is a full time, long term position for a vacancy within the department and could lead to a permanent contract. The position will pay up to £180 a day, dependent on experience.

We are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established community school, which caters for students from 11 -18 years old. The school has recently partnered with a second school in the area, after being graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' post-16 provision; this was achieved through the SLT being extremely supportive of all staff members and continuously looking to improve the school. They pride themselves on an induction programme leading to excellent professional development opportunities and are fully committed to the progress of their staff, as well as their students.

This OFSTED 'Good' secondary academy is looking for a Business and Economics Teacher who can deliver lessons up to KS5 and has excellent subject knowledge, as well as a great personality for building rapport with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of Business and Economics lessons to students in KS3 - KS5. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have experience of teaching Computer Science and ICT up to KS4. You will be delivering a full timetable and ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge, ensuring the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, making sure students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school is based in Nantwich, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.

After visiting this school, I was incredibly impressed by the welcoming and inclusive feeling that is present throughout the corridors. The school has a real buzz and students clearly enjoy learning.
