Based closely to the M53, the school has a small number of pupils; therefore, creating a close-knit school community and a supportive nature throughout. Excellent communication skills are essential as a courteous, prompt and polite service to all members of the school's community is of high importance. The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and can be considered a challenging but rewarding environment at times.

The ideal candidate will boast a range of practical skills to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks, as well as an eye for detail when overseeing and monitoring the work of external contractors on site. Emergencies can arise outside normal working hours, so flexibility is crucial in addition to a good understanding of health and safety, and the procedures necessary to keep our site, staff, students and visitors safe.
