Role and Responsibilities: Computer Science Teacher - Birmingham Area

As a Computer Science Teacher your primary focus will be on providing high-quality instruction in computer science, fostering a passion for technology, and preparing students for future success in this rapidly evolving field. 1. Curriculum Development:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.

3. Instructional Delivery:

  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Incorporate real-world examples and practical applications to enhance students' understanding of computer science concepts.

4. Assessment and Feedback:

  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to guide students' learning and development.

5. Differentiated Instruction:

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
