Are you an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher looking for work from January in Hertford, Hertfordshire? Perhaps you're a passionate ICT Teacher eager to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with others? Tradewind Secondary have an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science Teacher to start at a popular and local school based in Hertford!

Joining this dynamic and professionally run staff team means you'll benefit from structured and concise weekly meetings, a great team and superb faculty lead. Pupils here are of mixed ability and from a non-selective and varied background. ICT / Computer Science is popular subject and offered across key stages 3,4 with a demand for 5 for the right teacher.

As an ICT Teacher / Computer Science Teacher, you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Teach across years 7,8,9, 10 and 11 to engage students with computer science / ICT including programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and cyber security.
  • Enable a creative and interactive learning environment for all pupils and encourage them to think analytically and solve complex problems.
  • Implement and lead creative activities and projects to enhance practical skills and real-world application.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest developments and technological advancements and incorporate them into your teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in computer science / ICT Teaching or related knowledge and teaching / school experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey and engage pupils on complex ideas and ICT systems to students from a variety of ability levels.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring computer science is preferred, and applications from passionate individuals who are eager to transition into the teaching profession are also welcome.
  • A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
