Design Technology Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment has an exciting teaching opportunity for a passionate and inspirational Design Technology Teacher. This position is to commence in September 2021 and will be for the winter term with the possibility of continuing into the new academic year.

The Academy is situated on the Outskirts of Doncaster with easy access either by public transport or has a large on site car park for staff driving in. It has a history of excellence in Science, Engineering and Technology and has been rated "Good" in all aspects.
For this DT Teaching position, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for DT (Resistant Materials and Graphic Design) from Year 7 through to Year 11
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
- Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with GCSE requirements
To be considered for this DT position you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status or UK equivalent
Have recent relevant teaching experience
Be an outstanding DT teacher with excellent curriculum subject knowledge
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
