We are working with a SEN school in Bath which is looking for either newly qualified or experienced Level 3/Level2 practitioners for full time or reduced hours working on an ongoing basis from January. We can offer successful candidates a range of working patterns as an agency fully committed to equality and diversity.

In addition, you will need to be flexible and creative, with a commitment to provide first class childcare to young people in early Years with behavioural challenges and other special needs.

Qualifications:
*Minimum NNEB, NVQ Level II (Childcare & Education), BTEC (Childcare) or equivalent, or higher qualification
*Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - essential evidence
You must be able to demonstrate:
*a good working knowledge of the EYFS
*promote good practice
*provide first class childcare
*safeguarding children

Duties will include:
*To ensure that the seven areas of Learning and Development under the EYFS are being addressed in the planning cycle, children's learning journeys and activities.
*To ensure that the EYFS curriculum is implemented, through imaginative, creative and child-led initiatives
*Ensuring the team are maintaining up to date and accurate records, such as observations, learning journeys and next steps which are of an outstanding quality, consistently throughout the Nursery
*To complete monthly checking of all staff folders to ensure they are completed to the highest standard consistently across the setting
*To keep abreast of new and changing regulations in relation to the EYFS and ensure these are appropriately reflected in Nursery processes and appropriately communicated to the Manager and team
*To provide support and assistance to other team members in all aspects of the EYFS and related record keeping

* Be available part-time minimum
*Have ability to manage challenging behaviour
*Must have early years qualification
*EBD experience

*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
