The school is seeking an experienced teaching assistant, who has recent experience of working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. He is a very lively and likeable child who requires a positive, fair but consistent approach and he works well when clear boundaries and expectations of behaviour are in place.
The child also has some undiagnosed additional needs, mainly around learning so there will be some 1:1 classwork carried out with him, working closely with the class teacher and Senco.

You should have experience of working with EBD children and have a firm but fair approach and a patient but firm and consistent way of dealing with challenging situations,

Your hours of work will be 8.30am- 3:45pm with 30 minutes for lunch, with a daily rate of £70- £80, depending on experience.

The school is well served by public transport.
