Are you an experienced English teacher looking for a supportive and inclusive school in the heart of Stevenage?

Tradewind Hertfordshire are recruiting for an English Teacher on behalf of popular academy offering English to Key Stages 3 and 4, with key stage 5 available if desired and exceptionally good pay rates this is a great opportunity to secure a post from January 2021 for the remainder of the academic year. You'll be joining a successful and overstaffed department key with the schools development plan.
The department is 10 strong ranging in a mixture of experienced, overseas and newly qualified teachers. The team are professional and have a great work ethic ensuring their pupils get every opportunity to thrive in this popular and well-funded subject. After school and lunch time clubs are popular and numbers continue to grow for pupils taking English to KS5 (AQA). The KS 3 & 4 Curriculum is a key focus following the schools positive ofsted in 2019.
To be considered for this role:
- You will need to have experience of teaching English in the UK to Key stages 3 & 4, applications are also welcome from trainee teachers or teachers looking to complete their NQT
- Be a pragmatic and committed teacher available for the duration of the academic year.
- The school are particularly interested to hear from Teachers who can add show exceptional differentiation within their lessons.
The school is based in Stevenage and offer's good transport links from the towns train station and bus routes from local towns and villages.
To join us and be successful you will need
A level 5 or higher teaching accreditation from the UK or recognised by NARIC
A CV covering a 10-year history where applicable
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
