EYFS Teaching Assistant

Kingston Upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a reliable, energetic and patient EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant local school in Goole.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and relevant experience of nurture and behaviour management in a primary school setting.
The role is full time for the rest of the academic year but with the potential of becoming permanent.

The school boasts impressive facilities and a well experienced, well respected team of staff. The school located in Goole are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will add to the schools dedicated and professional staff, along with assisting pupils to raise achievement, independence and self-esteem.

The successful candidate will also have the ability to implement phonics, writing and maths group work and knowledge of a range of intervention programmes.
You will:
*Have good subject knowledge in both English and Maths and the confidence and ability to support all pupils
*Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils including those with Special Educational Needs
*Have an understanding of safeguarding children
*Have experience of nurture and behaviour management
*Be supportive with high expectations of behaviour management
*Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
*Be confident at using ICT, and willing to learn new skills
*Have the ability to work independently, showing initiative, as well as being part of a team, co-operating and collaborating with other staff
*Have a fun personality with a good sense of humour

Due to the location of the school the ability to drive is essential and there are ample car parking spaces on site. Pay for the role is negotiable on experience but you can expect anything from £60- £70 per day.
