Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging and community within the nursery.
- Carry out observations, assessments, and record-keeping to track children's progress and inform future planning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and maintain high standards of care and education.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an early years setting, preferably within the EYFS framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
