This position is to cover a long-term absence for an approximately a term. This is a full-time position - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.

About the Food Technician job:

Our client is looking for a Food Technician to join their food technology department from January 2020. This academy is located in the borough of Westminster. The position requires a responsible person with good communication skills and who enjoys interacting with young people.

The Food Technician will be responsible for:
*Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment and keeping work areas and equipment clean and tidy
*Preparing and clearing away equipment and ingredients
*Performing stock checks and ordering of equipment, materials and ingredients
*Assisting the Food Technology Teacher and students during practical lessons
*Supporting the Food Technology Teacher in the assessment and recording of pupil achievement
