About the Role:

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will involve:

• Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that inspire and motivate students.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food technology lessons.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Track and report on student progress and achievement.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
