The school is large but friendly with highly engaged pupils and a well-established 6th form. The leadership at this school are very keen to work with experienced teachers who wish to further develop their practise or NQT's looking for the positive support and development that the school will provide. The Geography Department has a central aim to provide students with a solid understanding of the world they live in and how it will change in the future. It has a bank of online resources allowing work to continue effectively at home. Field work is a key element of the curriculum and provides the students with the opportunity to relate academic knowledge to real life contexts.
