This position will be offered on a full time, long term basis and will commence in September, running until the end of the academic year in July 2021.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be assisting students to reach their academic, social and emotional goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support on a 1:1 basis to SEN pupils within the classroom
- Delivering targeted interventions to individual or small groups of students outside of the classroom
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons and tasks for SEN pupils
- Work alongside the SENCO and class teachers to deliver bespoke SEN provision
- Develop social and emotional skills
- Reporting on student progress to teachers and parents/carers
This position would specifically suit a recent graduate who aspires to train as a Secondary Teacher in the near future. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teaching to gain valuable classroom experience before commencing their PGCE in September 2022!
