Tradewind Recruitment is working with a good primary school based in Hillingdon that are recruiting for Graduate Teaching Assistants.

The head teacher and deputy head of this brilliant, high achieving school in the heart of vibrant Hillingdon who are keen to appoint two graduate Teaching Assistants.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm supporting the classroom teacher. Your role will involve working with pupils supporting both in and outside of the classroom. Working with small groups of key pupils, aiding them in with Literacy and Numeracy support as well as with guided reading.
The school have good behaviour throughout.

The role will involve

*Supporting the classroom Teacher
*Work alongside the KS1 / KS2 team to plan and prepare engaging and curriculum accessible sessions for small groups of learners that need additional support
*Firm behaviour management strategies

The teaching assistant roles are full time, 5 days week and will be due to start in September 2020 to continue until the end of the academic year until July 2021.

To be considered for the Graduate Teaching Assistant

you must;

*Have previous experience working in a primary school setting.
*Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
*Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your previous childcare work
*have an ability to manage sometimes challenging behaviour
*Ideally you will be local to Hillingdon
