The roles are full time to start in September 2019 until the end of the academic year in July 2019 and have scope to continue into the next academic year 2019/20.

The headteacher of this fantastic school would like to appoint enthusiastic graduate teaching assistants to support pupils with special educational needs. The role will involve 1-1 support as well as whole class support in KS1 and you will also be required to work with small groups of pupils around reading, writing, maths and social skills. Some of these children have special complex learning needs and you will be required to gain a good understanding of their learning needs and support with the necessary interventions. For this role you will need to demonstrate an interest in child development and child psychology.

If you are a graduate with a qualification and/or experience working with children or are interested in teacher training this job could be perfect for you.

The school is looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants who:

*Have a good academic background, ideally a 2:1 degree
*Have an engaging, confident approach
*An interest in child development and child psychology
*Previous childcare experience

Long term, 5 days per week
Term time only
£70 - £80 per day-based on skills and experience
8.30am - 4pm
