About the School - Head of Music - Enfield, North London
Located in the outer North London borough of Enfield but just minutes from Haringey this school benefits from all the space you would expect from a leafy suburb of London but has a mixed cosmopolitan feel of an inner-city school. The school has been on several up's and down's during its 40 years since opening. Currently on the rise this school is aiming to becoming one of the best in the area, giving every child a first-class education and he opportunity to succeed. Music at this school is a popular subject and is offered through to A-Level. Last year's GCSE scores in Music where some of the best at the school, something of which leadership is keen to build on. Due to a change in circumstances for the current Head of Music is moving on and a new leader for this excellent department is sought for January!

Role requirements - Head of Music - Enfield, North London
*QTS Music Teacher with at least 4 years teaching experience and ideally having held some responsibility within the department or school which includes the management of other teachers.
*Passion for Music and the ability to inspire pupils from a range of backgrounds. Ability to teach good to outstanding lessons on a consistent basis plus the desire to share/develop your colleagues.
*This is an improving school and there is work to be done in all areas to bring the school to the desired level. Therefore, this post will suit teachers who are keen on helping a school develop and someone who wants to be part of a journey!
