Tradewind Recruitment are working with a school based in Liverpool that caters for nearly 300 students, aged 3-19 years old, with Autism and associated complex learning difficulties.

They are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team of professional and experience teachers. They involve HLTA's with planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individual students or groups of children who require additional support. They will also be responsible for covering PPA once a week. Half an hours PPA will be given to the HLTA per week to aid preparation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Have a relevant HLTA or Teaching qualification (ECT's will be considered)
• Have experience working with children with ASD
• Be able to meet the key responsibilities required by a HLTA
• Have exceptional and adaptive communication skills
• Have excellent organisational skills

Appropriate candidates will attend a trial at the school. If successful, the candidate will being a long term role. This role could potentially go permanent for the right candidate.
