Part time HLTA

  • Part time role

Tradewind are working with a school in the Chesterfield area looking to employ a relief HLTA to work across school covering sickness absence and PPA across proposed year group bubbles from April 2021. The role is for a minimum of 3 days a week, although there may be opportunity to work additional days in the week as required.

You'll need to be qualified to level 4 or above and this role would also be suitable for an NQT or a qualified teacher. Experience across all year groups from Early Years to Year 6 is required as the school are looking for a confident practitioner able to adapt their delivery according to the year groups they are covering.

There will be no planning responsibility however there is likely to be some requirement to carry out basic assessments of pupil progress and feed this back to the class teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to comply with all aspects of the schools risk assessment and abide by social distancing measures.

The school has an effective behaviour management policy in place and in it's last Ofsted report the behaviour of the children around school was praised. All staff have access to a staff room with computers and a secure private car park.
