Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an inspirational tutor who is looking to support disadvantaged pupils in their home environment? Are you able to deliver a combination of English, Maths and Science at KS4?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with one of our client schools in the St. Helens are who are looking to build a bank of home tutors to support their disadvantaged students. These roles are expected to commence in September and are on an ADHOC basis.

The role of a home tutor may suit a teacher who is looking for some additional hours if they work part time or may also suit a retired teacher who is looking to continue to have an influence on the education of young people. You will be supporting students in either their home setting, at school on a 1:1 basis or in a library. The majority of the homes are in the St. Helens and Wigan areas.
You may be required to deliver either Maths, English or Science at KS3 or GCSE standard. You will be required to report in on the progress of your students on a per lesson basis and complete reports each half-term. It is encouraged that tutors have their own resources; however schemes of work and individual care plans can be provided.

To join us and be considered for this Home Tutor vacancy you must:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification;
*Have experience teaching Maths, English or Science (a combination of the subjects would be advantageous);
*This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
*Have the legal right to work in the UK.
