Intervention teacher

Tradewind are working with a primary school in the Rotherham area looking to employ an intervention teacher.

You will be working with small groups of children in Key Stage 2 from Year 3 to Year 6 who have fallen behind over the last academic year due to missing a large amount of time in school, some of those children may have additional special educational needs such as ASD or may come from disadvantaged backgrounds so prior experience having worked with children with additional needs would be a benefit.
As well as focusing on attainment in Phonics, English and Maths you will also be responsible for reminding children about positive behaviour for learning and re-integrating them back into the routine of the school day.

You will be working closely with the class teachers in terms of planning and assessment and will be involved in tracking and monitoring progress for each child you work with. You may also be required to work closely with the SENCO and other outside agencies to liaise regarding the implementation of pupil's IEP's.

You will have access to a secure private car park for use during the day and the school has a Covid safe risk assessment in place which will be explained in detail to you by the school.

Pay £130.00 - £150 per day dependant of experience.
