Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Experience: Previous experience with challenging behaviour in children or young people
Pay Rate: £90 - £115 per day (depending on experience)
Requirements:
- Experience with challenging behaviour in any childcare-related setting or as a support worker
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid and contactable professional references
- Preferable DBS on the update service (assistance available for a new application if needed)
The right person will have the following skills:
- Strong, able to use own initiative
- Team player, able to collaborate with other staff in the school
- Understanding and patient when dealing with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of effective de-escalation techniques
