The role requires someone with previous experience supporting on a 1-1 basis. The senco is keen to ensure that this pupil is nurtured and supported in class and is particularly keen to appoint someone with a psychology or counselling background. As well as providing 1-1 support to one particular child you will also be required work with small groups of pupils around reading, writing, maths and social skills so must be comfortable supporting children at year 5 level.

The role is full time to start ASAP (September) until the end of the academic year in July 2020.
