We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Learning Support Assistant to join our team for a primary school based in Islington, North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the year 6 class and providing support to both the teacher and students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom assistance to the teacher and students
- Facilitate small groups or individual students to provide additional support
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Track student progress and provide feedback to the teacher
- Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent experience in education or related field
- A commitment to education and the development of young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A positive and adaptable attitude
This role is offered with a remuneration of £80-100 per day, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
