A highly specialised, supportive SEN primary school in South Manchester is looking for a patient, kind and resilient learning support assistant to join their team. You would be working 1:1 and in small groups of children with ASD, helping them to achieve the targets on their individual learning plans. They are looking for someone to use their interactive curriculum to motivate the students to be engaged with their learning and social development.

Your responsibilities include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

Ideal candidates will have the following:
* Must have experience within SEN, education, support worker and youth worker roles
* Understanding of SEMH, ASD, ADHD and other behavioural difficulties
* Committed to safeguarding
* Current DBS is desirable
* Flexible approach to teaching
