SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a Nursery School currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant on full-time basis. This Nursery school is location in the borough of Wandsworth and is rated 'Outstanding' during their recent Ofsted inspection. This learning support assistant position is due to start in September 2020 and will continue for a full academic year.

Your role will be to work as a learning support assistant in their resource base with 10 full time equivalent places for children under the age of 5 with a recognised social communication difficulty. Some of the children have been diagnosed as having Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The team includes a qualified specialist Teacher, a Nursery Nurse, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Therapist and Learning Support Assistants. Whilst the children are fully included in the life of the nursery school and especially outdoor play, they benefit from a structured daily programme to help them develop important communication, social and play skills.

As a learning support assistant within this resource base, you will need to:

Have proven track record working in Early Years and SEN

Be compassionate and able to speak confidently with parents

Bring in fresh new ideas

Enjoy working independently and with a team

Have a great sense of humour
