Located in the heart of the bustling borough of Southwark, this ambitious Catholic secondary school is seeking a driven Maths specialist to join their school on a permanent basis, initially covering a 2ic maternity position. In this role, you will be supporting the Head practitioner on providing outstanding practice and leading the KS4 department in achieving exceptional results. The school is located a short distance from multiple bus routes and overground station that allows direct access into central and outer London. Ofsted have recently praised the school for their high expectations for all students which has led to extremely strong progress, regardless of pupil's starting points. *QTS achieved or expected to be achieved prior to January in Secondary Maths teacher position
*Ability to differentiate and challenge all pupils, including high attaining
*Desire to be developed into an "outstanding" Maths teacher
*Ability to uphold "Outstanding" behaviour management
*Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching
*Excellent subject knowledge within Maths teaching
