Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding special educational needs school within Wirral that caters for pupils at KS 3&4. The school is a small site that has around 80 pupils on role who have a range of medical needs.

We are looking for a full time Maths Specialist starting on 20th April 2020 for 12 months.

Based around 20 minutes from the Birkenhead or Wallasey tunnel, the school educates young people who are no longer able to attend mainstream school due to varying needs including Mental Health, Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders and Self Harm.

As the maths teacher, teaching across both KS 3&4 you will be required to plan, mark and guide pupils through their GCSE's. You will need to factor each pupils needs into their learning, catering for pupils who find it difficult to attend class or interact with others.

To be considered you will need
* UK QTS in Maths
* An excellent knowledge of the maths curriculum up to GCSE
* Previous experience catering for SEND pupils

Your day rate is negotiable dependant on experience.
